Multimodal Transport
Fusion Processing played a key role in the MultiCAV project at Milton Park, providing its advanced CAVstar® automated driving system for a trial of a fully autonomous (AV Level 4) minibus. The trial aimed to explore the potential of driverless public transport within the business, science, and technology park. Fusion Processing's technology enabled the automated operation of a zero-emission Mellor Orion E minibus, offering valuable insights into how autonomous vehicles can support greener and more efficient transport solutions. The project, funded by Innovate UK and the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV), demonstrated how autonomous transport can seamlessly integrate into real-world environments, contributing to the UK's vision of a more sustainable and innovative transport network.
