ROBOTIC VEHICLES
Fusion Processing has developed a bespoke CAVstar-lite automated drive system which enables small robots to operate with full autonomy on both flat surface and rugged off-road terrain. With a range of platforms dependent on customer demands, CAVstar-lite offers unrivalled levels of autonomy in a small package. Uses include:
Surveillance robots – offering the ability to patrol a defined area, capturing video footage and identifying any misplaced items or intruders and notifying an operations room. Suitable for security applications.
Exploration/mapping robots – able to autonomously explore unmapped areas safely, returning video footage, and a map of the area of interest. Suitable for exploration and surveying hazardous areas.
Industrial robots and tugs – able to autonomously navigate its way to safely deliver items between stations in a warehouse, factory floor or similar environments.
